CETEM has long recognized that a lively program of conferences, workshops and expose is essential to maintaining a dynamic scientific, social, productive and a progressive atmosphere by regularly researchers, professionals and stakeholders to current ideas in the global community. With the globe as our venue for our conferences CETEM is explicitly designed to handle a wide range of scientific, non-scientific, political, social and management program while concurrently facilitating organizing in house activities. CETEM is committed to a combination of internal and external programs that are aligned with or complement its core focus areas.

We welcome proposals from professional, individuals or groups in organizing and presenting a workshop, conference, seminar, panel discussion, expos and trainings at CETEM in various areas.

Conference Proposals

We welcome proposals, from professional, individuals or organization interested in organizing and presenting a workshop or conference at CETEM in one of our key areas.

The center conducts these events in house facility, lavish restaurants, hotels, seminar rooms, informal meeting areas and lounges and offer meals and refreshments, offices for organizers and workspace for participants. Outstanding proposals, which complement ongoing activities at institute, can also receive financial support by our sponsors as per our guidelines. Submissions will be strengthened by inclusion of external financial partners.

The center, through its conference coordinators, will work with the organizers and take care of the logistical details. CETEM residents who wish to hold a conference should use the online conference proposal application. Please review our guidelines for further information on the conference program.

Conference Sponsorship

Sponsorship of external events

CETEM is pleased to accept requests for sponsorship of external conferences. The request for sponsorship of external conferences have to meet the following criteria:

  1. The event is of national or international significance,
  2. The event is taking place in Pakistan,
  3. The event is directly related to CETEM research or outreach mission and mandate
  4. CETEM will receive the following in recognition of its sponsorship or the sponsorship by its partners:

    5. a. Logo placement on all publicity, and

    b. Logo placement on the organizer website on the link to CETEM website.

    c. Other modalities would be discussed and agreed upon in writing offer the submission of the sponsorship proposal.

  5. The organizer is willing to provide CETEM with:

    6. a. An event logo

    b. Two event posters

    c. A post-event report which includes a short summary, budget including a description of the use of CETEM and its partners’ funds and a digital photo album of the event.

    d. Other modifications would be discussed and agreed upon in writing after the conference proposal submission.

CETEM has maximum allocation of funds by its partners for sponsorship each year. Sponsorship amounts are generally decided after the acceptance of the proposal. We suggest submitting proposals as early as possible, but at least six months before the event date. Sponsorship requests will be reviewed three times a year (January, May, September) and a decision regarding which sponsorships will be approved will take place in those months.
