Panel Discussions
Proposals from those who would like to facilitate a panel discussions are welcomed. The proposal may address any of the topics following within the scope of conference’s theme.
Panel discussions provide an opportunity for panel discussion amongst a selected group of panel list. Central to the success of a panel discussion is the choice of a good topic as the focus for the discussion and panelist who bring the differing the perspectives and are confident in making clear arguments in a live situation.
Panel should comprise of 3-5 scholars who present their arguments; a discussant offers article comment on the arguments made and the discussion is open for the participating audience.
The proposal include:
a. Title
b. Panel chair(s) (if necessary)
c. Speakers name, affiliation and email
d. Scope
e. Objective and motivation
CETEM will set aside space for these who wish to pursue discussion of a particular topic or issue. Interested individuals should submit a proposal not more than 400 words, on or before April 13th, 2017, in addition, the proposal should indicate the duration of panel discussion (preferred duration is 90 minutes). All accepted panel discussion proposals will be published in conference proceedings.
